The Rosecroft Primary School Governing Body is made up of fourteen people:-
- The Headteacher
- One Local Authority appointee
- Four Parents
- Seven co-opted/community governors
- One member of staff
We are supported by a Clerk.
Conducting our Business
The full Governing Body meets at least once per term. However, much of our work is conducted through two sub-groups:
- The Buildings, Finance and Grounds (BFG) Committee which also covers health and safety and pay.
- The Teaching, Learning and Curriculum (TLC) Committee which also incorporates safeguarding.
Each committee has a chair person plus up to seven members and works under defined terms of reference to ensure that the school's priorities are met within the policies laid down/agreed by the Governing Body.
Copies of meeting minutes are held in the School Office and can be viewed by appointment.
The Terms of Reference are also held in the School Office but can also be viewed below
